Formuler connects with Xtream Codes — a Portal URL, a Username and a Password, which your provider sends you by email. If someone’s asking for your Formuler’s MAC, something’s gone wrong.
Setting up MyTVOnline, step by step
- Open MyTVOnline 2 or MyTVOnline 3 on the box (or DOL2 on a Dreamlink).
- Go to Menu → Connections, then select Add Portal.
- Enter any Portal Name you like — WizTV, for example. It's just a label.
- Toggle Login Required to ON. This is the step people miss.
- Enter the Portal URL, Username and Password your provider emailed you.
- Press Connect. Your channels load.
If it refuses to connect with details you’re certain are right, check the Portal URL starts with
http:// rather than https://, and that Login Required is switched on. Those two account for the overwhelming majority of failed Formuler setups. Watch for stray spaces if you typed the details with the remote — it’s easy to add one without noticing.

Getting the most out of it
Once you're connected, a few things are worth setting up properly:
- The guide. MyTVOnline pulls your EPG automatically over the portal connection — give it a minute on first load to populate.
- Favourites. With thousands of channels, building a favourites list is the difference between enjoying the box and drowning in it.
- Recording. Plug in a USB drive and MyTVOnline will record live TV — one of the genuine advantages over a streaming stick.
- Ethernet. Formuler boxes have a wired port. Use it. Live TV is unforgiving of Wi-Fi wobbles, and this removes the most common cause of peak-time stutter.
You'll want 10–20 Mbps as a floor, and more if you're watching 4K or several people are streaming at once.

Common Formuler issues
- "Cannot connect to portal" — check
http://versushttps://, and that Login Required is ON. - Channels load but no guide — give the EPG a few minutes on first connection, then restart the app.
- Buffering on Wi-Fi — switch to ethernet; it's the single biggest improvement available.
- Details rejected — ask your provider to resend them; a mistyped character from remote-entry is common.
